There are many beautiful and distinctive nature trails, ranging from 1km to 15km at Bryn Tail, Clywedog, Source of the Severn, Gilfach Nature Reserve, Hafod, Nant yr Arian and the Elan Valley.

All of these walks are well marked and between a 5 and 40 minute drive from Dan y Coed.

There are many walks straight from the front door.

Walks with waterfalls, mountain tops, coast, forest and farmland are all nearby.
